From teaching to digital design...

Before Moon Digital, I spent years working as a secondary school teacher. Teaching taught me a lot about patience, communication and, perhaps most importantly, how to take something complicated and make it easier to understand.

​

Those skills have turned out to be surprisingly useful in the world of digital design!

​

When I first started building my own business, I faced many of the same challenges as the business owners I now work with. I was trying to establish a brand, build a website and figure out how to actually get people to notice it — all while doing everything myself.

​

And I quickly discovered that having a website doesn't necessarily mean having a website that works.

I'd invested time and money into a site that looked good, but wasn't really doing anything for my business. That frustration made me want to understand why.

​

I started learning what makes a website genuinely effective — how to build trust, guide visitors, communicate clearly and ultimately turn a website into a useful business tool, rather than just an online brochure.

 

That's where Moon Digital began...

I created Moon Digital to help startups and small businesses build a professional online presence without the jargon, overwhelm or agency price tag.

Because I know how much you're already juggling when you're running a small business. You're the business owner, marketer, administrator, salesperson... and sometimes even the person fixing the website at 10pm!
